How to Submit a Quote in the Barman Service Marketplace?
Step 1: Register on the Website and Log into Your Barmen Account
If you have not yet registered on Barmen, start by signing up to activate your account. To provide services on Barmen, select the role of “Service Provider” during registration and choose the services you can offer. Once registered, go to the “My office” page. From the right-hand menu, under the “Service Provider” section, select “Service Marketplace” to access the service marketplace page.
Step 2: Access the Service Marketplace Page
After logging into your user panel, navigate to the “Service Provider” section from the right-hand menu and select “Service Marketplace.” A table of service requests available on the platform will be displayed.
Each service request has a deadline for submitting quotes. This means you can only submit your proposal until the specified date; after this deadline, the service request will be removed from the marketplace.
Step 3: Select a Service
Service Marketplace: In the service marketplace table, you can view active requests from commercial service seekers. Please note that service requests are displayed in the Barmen Service Marketplace only until the “Proposal Submission Deadline.” After this date, you will no longer be able to submit a proposal for the request.
Selecting a Service: To view the details of the request and submit your quote, select the relevant service in the row and click on the eye icon in the “View” column. This will display the request details for you.
Step 4: Submit an Invoice
In the gray box, you will see the information entered by the requester. When completing the invoice information, please consider the following:
Communicating with the Requester: If you wish to negotiate or discuss additional aspects of the request, use the “Contact User” button at the top of the form to connect with the user via the Baramen chat platform.
Payment Method: Choose your preferred payment method. For a secure purchasing experience, we recommend using Baramen’s secure payment gateway. If payment is made through Baramen’s gateway, the order amount will be held in escrow until the order process is completed and the goods are delivered. Baramen is not responsible for transactions conducted without using the secure payment gateway.
Proposed Price: Enter your proposed price for the service based on the information provided in the service form.
Currency: Select the currency in which you wish to receive payment. Note that the requester will have specified their preferred currency when submitting the service request. If you do not agree with the requested currency, it is advisable to first negotiate the currency and other transaction conditions with the user via the contact feature, and then specify the agreed currency in this section.
Baramen Commission: Baramen’s commission for each service is 10% of your proposed amount. In other words, 10% of the amount you propose will be calculated as Baramen’s commission.
Final Price: The final amount displayed to the customer will include your proposed amount plus Baramen’s commission. This information is provided to clarify the methods of calculating and paying Baramen’s commission for our esteemed service providers. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
Multiple Shipments: If the service requires multiple shipments, activate the “Multiple Shipments” option. This refers to a process where goods or shipments are sent in stages rather than in a single direct shipment. This approach is often used due to size, weight, distance, cost, or other limitations. Initially, the shipment is sent to a distribution center or warehouse, and then it is forwarded to the final destination. Using multiple shipments can be more economical, effective, and efficient, especially for large or complex shipments.
Additional Notes: Enter any additional necessary information in this section.
Submit Invoice: After completing the information, click the “Submit” button to send your proposal to the requester.
Step 5: Invoice Approval and Payment by the Buyer
Your proposal, along with those from other service providers, will be sent to the customer. The customer will review your proposal and either approve or reject it.
If the proposal is approved, the customer will make the payment as per the agreement. Once the customer has paid the invoice amount, the service provider must confirm the receipt of the payment to their account. (If using Baramen’s secure payment gateway, the payment confirmation process will be handled systematically by the system.)
Step 6: Providing the Service
After both parties have confirmed the payment, the service must be performed within the timeframe specified in the customer’s request.
Once the service has been completed, click the “Confirm” button in the box labeled “Has the service been completed?” to indicate that the service has been provided.
