Steps to Request Consulting Services on Baramen

Step 1 - Accessing the Service Request Page

You can reach the Baramen service request page through one of the following methods:

  1. Direct Access from the Homepage:

    • Navigate to the top menu of the homepage and select the Service Request option.
    • Once on the service request page, choose Consulting and click the Next button.
  2. Access via My Workspace:

    • In the right-side menu under the Customer section, select Service Request, then choose New Service Request from the displayed submenu.
    • On the services page, select Consulting and click the Next button to open the consulting service form.

Step 2 - Completing the Consulting Form

When filling out the consulting form, please consider the following points:

  • Type of Consulting: Select your desired consulting service from the provided list. If your specific requirement is not listed, choose Other and clearly describe your needs in the comments field, ensuring that specialized consultants in that area can appropriately address your request.

  • Payment Currency: Indicate the currency you intend to use for payment to the service provider.

  • File Upload: You can upload relevant documents in formats such as images, PDFs, or Excel files to support your request.

  • Additional Comments: Enter any further information or special requests in this section.

After entering all necessary information, the Save and Next button will become active. Clicking this will direct you to the page where you can set the proposal submission deadline. At this stage, you will need to specify the timeframe for service providers to submit their proposals.

Please note that service providers can only submit proposals until the deadline you select. After this period, you will not receive any additional proposals.

Once you have set the proposal deadline, click the Submit button to officially register your request within Baramen’s commercial service marketplace.

Checking the Status of Your Request

To check the status of your request, navigate to the right-side menu in the Customer section, select Service Request, and then click on My Requested Services from the displayed submenu.

Step 3 - Viewing, Reviewing, and Selecting the Best Proposal

Viewing and Reviewing Proposals: To access the received proposals, navigate to the Customer section in the right-side menu. Select Service Request, then click on Service Provider Proposals from the submenu. This action will display a table containing all the proposals from various service providers. To view the details of each proposal, simply click the eye icon.

Communication with Service Providers: If you wish to engage in discussions with service providers before making a decision on a proposal, you can easily do so using the Contact User button, which allows you to chat with the provider directly through Baramen’s messaging platform.

Accepting or Rejecting Proposals: At the bottom of each proposal, you will find buttons to Accept or Reject. If you find the proposal satisfactory, click the Accept button; if not, select the Reject button. Once you accept a proposal, you will be directed to the next step, which involves processing the invoice payment.

Step 4 - Invoice Payment

After accepting the desired proposal, you will need to pay the order amount as per your mutual agreement. For a secure transaction experience, we strongly recommend using Baramen’s secure payment gateway. Payments made through Baramen will be held in escrow until the order is finalized and the goods are delivered. Please note that Baramen is not liable for transactions completed outside of this secure payment system.

Once you have made the payment, please enter any required information in the description field and upload the payment receipt along with any other relevant documents. Then, click the Payment Completed button.

If you wish to cancel the service before making the payment, simply click the Cancel button and provide a brief explanation. Be aware that after payment has been processed, cancellation of the request will no longer be an option.

When using Baramen’s secure payment system, you will be redirected to the payment portal, and a confirmation of payment will be sent to the seller. The subsequent step will involve preparing your order. If you opt for alternative payment methods, after selecting the invoice payment option, you will need to wait for the seller to confirm the payment.

Step 5 - Service Execution

After the order amount is deposited by the customer, it is essential for the service provider to confirm that the payment has been received in their account. (If Baramen’s secure payment gateway is used, the payment confirmation will be handled automatically for both parties).

Once payment is confirmed, the service provider is obliged to deliver the requested services within the specified timeframe as outlined in the agreement.

Step 6 - Process Completion; Feedback and Ratings

After the service has been successfully completed by the provider, you will have the opportunity to evaluate their performance and provide your feedback. Your ratings and comments are invaluable for helping future users make informed decisions and for ensuring the continued quality of services on the Baramen platform.
